Barometer Capital Management Inc. launches new Equity Fund and announces change of Fund name

TORONTO, Jan. 8, 2014 /CNW/ - Barometer Capital Management Inc. ("Barometer") today announced the launch of the new Barometer Disciplined Leadership Equity Fund (the "Equity Fund").  In addition, Barometer also announced that it has changed the name of the Barometer Income Advantage Fund to the Barometer Disciplined Leadership High Income Fund (the "Income Fund"), re-introducing Barometer's Disciplined Leadership brand to its family of public funds.

Together, the Equity Fund and the Income Fund will provide investors with a well-rounded tactical portfolio strategy based on Barometer's Disciplined Leadership Approach™.  "The Equity Fund is complementary to the Income Fund as it seeks out companies going through positive change in market leadership sectors or themes without any specific yield constraints", said David Burrows, President and Chief Investment Strategist of Barometer.
