Barometer Hires Paul Campbell and James Brennan to Bolster its Research and Derivatives Expertise
TORONTO, Feb. 3, 2014 /CNW/ - Barometer Capital Management Inc. ("Barometer") today announced two new leadership appointments that will further it's strategic growth initiatives.
Paul Campbell has been appointed Head of Research, and will be responsible for leading Barometer's global research activities. Paul brings a wealth of experience, including 24 years at BMO Capital Markets in Toronto, most recently as Managing Director, Canadian Equity Research. Paul's track record in formulating security recommendations and his commitment to a rigorous research process will enhance Barometer's selection and coverage of its universe of 60,000 stocks.
Joining Barometer from TMX Shorcan, James Brennan has been appointed to the role of Head of Fixed Income. James' career spans over 24 years in credit and fixed income, both in Canada and in the United States where he honed his skills with high profile financial institutions including Solomon Brothers, BMO and JP Morgan. While at TMX Shorcan he created an international fixed income derivative platform. His expertise will help broaden Barometer's access to international investment opportunities across its portfolios.
