BASF receives registration for ODYSSEY® ULTRA on faba beans
MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 17, 2016 /CNW/ - BASF announced that it has received registration from the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) for ODYSSEY® ULTRA on faba beans for the 2016 growing season.
ODYSSEY ULTRA combines the early-season and flushing broadleaf weed control of ODYSSEY with the proven, premium grassy weed control of POAST® ULTRA. ODYSSEY ULTRA provides control of key grassy weeds like wild oats, volunteer cereals, Japanese brome and Quackgrass, and offers an extended application window.
Background:
Faba beans are growing in popularity and make an excellent rotational crop because it does not require extensive use of nitrogen and the introduction of this pulse crop interrupts pest cycles for growers.
