- CIS football hits TSN2 this Sunday with Laval taking on

/CNW/ - TSN, Canadian Interuniversity Sport and the
Quebec
Student Sports Federation announced today that this Sunday's much-anticipated football game between top-ranked, reigning Vanier Cup champion Laval and fifth-ranked
Montreal
will be broadcast nationally on TSN2.
The game will air on TSN2 at
1 p.m. ET
.
First-place in the
Quebec
conference will be on the line as Laval comes into the duel with an unblemished 4-0 mid-season record, while
Montreal
currently sits in second place in the QUFL with a 3-1 mark.
Earlier this fall, TSN and CIS announced a two-year agreement that saw TSN and TSN2 become the exclusive English broadcasters for several marquee CIS events for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 university sport seasons.
TSN will air both CIS football semifinals - the Uteck and Mitchell Bowls - on
November 21
, as well as the Desjardins Vanier Cup, live from Université Laval in
Quebec
City on
Saturday, November 28
.
