TORONTO, March 27, 2018 /CNW/ - Baylin Technologies Inc. ("Baylin") (TSX: BYL) today announced that its subsidiary, Galtronics, has received approval by a Tier One North American carrier of its 6 port 30 by 30 panel antenna for use in stadium and high capacity applications.
Galtronics' GP2406-06670 is a single-sector Hex-port MIMO antenna designed for use in 4G and 5G applications that require high capacity solutions. The industry leading performance of the GP2406-06670 comes in the smallest form factor of 23 by 23 inches.
Galtronics' Vice President of Global Sales, Brent McMurray, explains: "Our new 30 by 30 product allows carriers to have flexibility when designing expensive new Distributed Antenna Solutions. The Galtronics' GP2406-06670 allows for 2 ports of combined low-band and mid-band coverage (698 to 896 MHz and 1695-2690 MHz frequency ranges) and an additional 2 ports covering the 1695-2690 MHz range enabling mid-band 4X4 MIMO capability. When carriers migrate to gigabit service through the use of LAA, this antenna additionally supports Licensed Assisted Access with 2 ports."
Randy Dewey, President and CEO of Baylin Technologies, is pleased with the ongoing positive developments coming from the Galtronics' sales and design teams and explains: "The design and production of high performance antennas, which are now being built taking future use into consideration, are a testament to Galtronics' 40 year history of excellence in the wireless antenna marketplace."
