About the Best Employers study
The Best Employers in Canada study is conducted annually by Aon Hewitt, the human capital consulting and outsourcing solutions business of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AON). The first list of the Best Employers in Canada was released in 2000 and, since then, the study has grown to include a companion study conducted in conjunction with Queen's University's School of Business, the Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada. Using survey data collected from employees themselves, the study results gauge employee engagement levels and help organizations pinpoint exactly where changes to human resources programs, policies and practices will have the greatest positive impact on overall employee engagement.
