B.C. Securities Commission's Criminal Investigations Team and Vancouver Police arrest Vancouver man for fraud
VANCOUVER, Oct. 26, 2012 /CNW/ - The British Columbia Securities Commission's Criminal Investigations Team and the Vancouver Police Department have arrested a Vancouver man and charged him with fraud over $5,000 and theft over $5,000. Both charges are under the Criminal Code, and relate to a securities investment which investigators believe and the Crown alleges to be fraudulent.
On October 24, Kelly Fielder was arrested pursuant to a Warrant for Arrest issued on the same day in Vancouver. Fielder was arrested at his home without incident. The BCSC gratefully acknowledges the assistance provided to its Criminal Investigations Team by officers of the Vancouver Police.
The charges against Fielder have not been proven.
