Background
The provincial government announced the privatization of LDB in February. There has been no public consultation and no business case has been presented.
Proponents must submit bids by June 29 and a shortlist of one to three proponents is expected by July 20.
Last week LDB General Manager Jay Chambers announced he was quitting the agency on July 6.
The LDB sell-off is the largest privatization in the province since BC Rail was privatized in 2004.
