BCLC recognized among Top 100 employers in Canada
KAMLOOPS, BC, Oct. 15 /CNW/ - For the second year in a row British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has been officially recognized as one of the Top 100 Employers in Canada for 2011.
"To be recognized again this year as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers is a major achievement our entire organization is very proud of," said BCLC President & CEO, Michael Graydon.

BCLC employs almost 900 people at its offices in Kamloops and Richmond, with field staff stationed throughout the province. The average age of the workforce is 41.
In addition to being named to the Top 100 in Canada by Mediacorp Canada Inc., a Toronto-based publisher of specialized employment-related periodicals, BCLC received top provincial honours for the fifth year in a row, and recognition as a Top Employer for Canadians over 40.
Mediacorp Canada Inc. rates employers' criteria ranging from physical workplace to performance management to training and skills development and community involvement. Mediacorp reviewed the recruitment histories of more than 75,000 employers and invited 16,000 to participate in this year's competition.
