BCSC panel dismisses Icahn Group's application for temporary cease trade
orders
VANCOUVER, July 28 /CNW/ - A British Columbia Securities Commission panel today made an oral ruling to dismiss an application by the Icahn Group for temporarily cease trade orders against Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. and funds controlled by one of its directors in relation to a take-over bid.
In dismissing the application, the panel noted that the Court is the most efficient forum to resolve the issues, and said that a temporary order is not necessary in the public interest at this time.
