BOSTON, April 30, 2019 /CNW/ -- Rising 61 storeys above the thriving Back Bay neighbourhood, the all-new Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston is a beacon of modernity in one of America's most historic cities. With thoughtfully appointed accommodations, a full-floor spa and wellness centre including a stunning indoor pool, light-filled event spaces, and the New England debut of the world-renowned Zuma restaurant, it's both a destination unto itself and a gateway to all the city has to offer.
"Like the city, everything about this Hotel has a youthful feel," says General Manager Reed Kandalaft, who has carefully assembled a team dedicated to personalising every overnight stay, every event and every meal at the new Four Seasons. "It's all forward thinking, fresh and contemporary at every turn."
The soaring glass skyscraper – now the city's third tallest building at 724 feet or 220 metres – was designed by Harry Cobb of Pei Cobb Freed & Partners in collaboration with Gary Johnson of Cambridge 7 Associates. Surrounding the elliptical "guitar pick" shaped building are three distinct streetscapes by landscape architect Michael Van Valkenburgh, including a 5,000 square foot (465 square metre) park adjacent to the building's grand entrance.
"This is truly a milestone project for Four Seasons," says Vince Parrotta, President, Hotel Operations – Americas. "We could not have found better partners, like-minded people who share our vision for luxury hospitality, and organisations with the bench strength to make it all come to life."
