David Lewis, Ph.D., joins as Chief Client Officer
TORONTO, Aug. 27, 2018 /CNW/ - Kelly Peters, CEO and Co-Founder of BEworks announced today that David Lewis, Ph.D., has joined the senior leadership team in the newly-created role of Chief Client Officer. In this role, Lewis will work closely with BEworks co-founders Kelly Peters, Dan Ariely, and Nina Mažar to ensure that BEworks continues to develop strong client relationships, cultivate unique experiences, and maintain its reputation as the leading behavioural science consulting firm in the world.
Lewis joins BEworks from the Ted Rogers School of Retail Management at Ryerson University, where he was an Assistant Professor. He earned his Ph.D. in Marketing from the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. He completed his MBA at the Schulich School of Business at York University, and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D., Lewis held numerous senior positions including Head of Technology, Head of Marketing, President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board, at global financial institutions including Barclays Wealth USA, UBS Bank USA, UBS Financial Services Americas, ING DIRECT USA, and Bank of Nova Scotia. Ad Age magazine has also recognized Lewis as being one of the Top 50 marketers in the United States.
During his career, Lewis has presented as a featured or keynote speaker at multiple industry conferences. His research considers retail consumer behaviour, digital retailing, and retail innovation, and uses consumer behaviour, behavioural economics, and psychology to explain consumer decision-making, advice seeking, decision difficulty, and choice satisfaction regarding retail goods and services.
