VANCOUVER, June 8 /CNW Telbec/ - Bell Copper Corporation ("Bell Copper" or the "Company") (TSX-V Symbol: BCU) is pleased to introduce Mr. Timothy Lallas CMA, ACMA as the Company's new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Lallas has over 25 years of progressive experience encompassing financial management, global risk management, management of an international finance function, management of finance departments, procurement and IT Departments, Sarbanes Oxley implementation and successful certification, management of auditing groups, construction cost auditing and cost recoveries, business process improvements, acquisitions and facilitating management change.

Mr. Lallas has worked previously in the Canadian Resource sector with Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc., Goldcorp Inc. and Teck Cominco Ltd. His most recent post was VP of Finance and CFO of Greystar Resources Limited.

Mr. Lallas obtained his Bachelor of Accounting Science Degree - Majoring in Auditing & Accounting from the University of South Africa, and his Bachelor of Arts Degree - Majoring in Law & English from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.

The Company further announces that Mr. Brian Leeners has resigned as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Leeners has been with the Company since 2000 and will continue to provide service to the Company as a Strategic Business Development consultant.

Subject to regulatory approval, the Company will grant a total of 500,000 stock options to Mr. Lallas, exercisable at $0.35 for a period of five (5) years from the date of granting.
