Bell throws open the doors to the famous Festival International de Jazz de Montréal with new mobile and online content
MONTREAL, June 7 /CNW Telbec/ - Bell is pleased to announce that it will support the 31st edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, taking place from June 25th to July 6th, as an official sponsor, including loaning its technological expertise to ensure festival-goers have mobile and online access to the Festival information they need.
"The Bell team is thrilled to be able to contribute to the success of the Festival's 31st edition with our leading communications capabilities," said Rick Seifeddine, Bell's Senior Vice-President - Brand. "Combined with our on-site and online presence, Bell's exclusive mobile applications make us the best source of information for festival-goers, before, during and after the event."
Bell has supported the development of all-new Festival applications for leading smartphones, offering a useful toolbox of mobile, interactive information to event participants. The applications will provide access to complete show schedules, information on the artists, music samples, the latest jazz fest news and much more.
The Festival's official Web site will feature a brand-new Montrealjazzfest.tv section. Three cameramen will roam the Festival's concert halls and outdoor stages, taking video clips of a dozen or so concert openings throughout the event, enabling festival-goers to view hundreds of clips of exclusive concert footage.
To provide relevant and up-to-date information regarding Festival programming, visitors to Infojazz Bell kiosks can consult the Festival Web page using brand-new Apple iPads.
