Canada's #1 national newscast CTV NATIONAL NEWS WITH LISA LAFLAMME won its second CSA last night as Lisa LaFlamme was honoured as Best News Anchor, National. This complements the Best National Newscast award received by the program at the opening night gala this past Tuesday, boldly punctuating CTV News' position as the country's foremost news organization. Overall, CTV News picked up a remarkable six awards across a diverse range of highly-contested categories, furthering its position as Canada's national, local, and factual news programming leader.
In the film categories, 19 winners - including Denis Villeneuve's Enemy and Best Motion Picture winner Gabrielle - were supported through Bell Media's pay television services, The Movie Network and Super Écran, and the Harold Greenberg Fund/ Fonds Harold Greenberg financing programs.
