TORONTO, June 12, 2017 /CNW/ - With 30 award wins, Bell Media maintains its position as the leading Canadian broadcaster and media group at the 2017 PromaxBDA awards held June 8 in New York. Bell Media's in-house agency won more than four times the awards than all other Canadian companies combined, and was first runner-up for the Global Marketing Company of the Year. The awards celebrate the world's best achievements in entertainment marketing across every platform, including on-air, online, and on-the-go.
Bell Media was honoured with an impressive 30 awards this year, including 23 Global Excellence awards (six gold, eight silver, and nine bronze) and seven North American awards (two gold, two silver, and three bronze). Nominated for a total of 58 awards – 48 Global Excellence Awards and 10 North American Awards – Bell Media Agency is notable for being the only major award winner whose work is strategized and created entirely in-house.
