TORONTO, March 24 /CNW/ - Astral Media's Family Channel presents A Day of Premieres - a fresh, fun-filled line-up featuring brand-spanking-new episodes of favourite series. Programming includes a special episode of Phineas and Ferb guest starring Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor, a sneak peek of the new Disney Channel series Good Luck Charlie and a one-hour episode of Wizards of Waverly Place. Family's A Day of Premieres airs Monday, April 5 beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET/PT.

The fun kicks off at 11:30 a.m. ET/PT with an action-packed episode of the animated series Phineas and Ferb guest-starring Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor. In The Beak, Stiller and Taylor voice a super villain and his wife who arrive in Danville and start wreaking havoc for Phineas and Ferb.

Things get hairy in Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place: Wizards vs. Werewolves at 12:30 p.m. ET/PT in a one-hour episode that finds Alex (Selena Gomez) falling for a mysterious new boy. When his secret is revealed, Justin (David Henrie) uses it to his advantage to help him sniff out an old love. Bridgit Mendler (Good Luck Charlie) and Gregg Sulkin (As The Bell Rings) guest star.

The mysteries continue at 1:30 p.m. ET/PT with the cliff hanger finale of Season 2 of the Canadian original series The Latest Buzz. After the final episode, kids can log onto Family.ca to vote for what they think will happen next for the gang at Teen Buzz magazine. On Monday, April 19 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT viewers can tune in to the premiere of Season 3 to see how the story unfolds.

Demi Lovato stars in two new back-to-back new episodes of the Disney Channel series Sonny With A Chance beginning at 2 p.m. ET/PT. In the premiere of Season 2, Sonny rallies everyone together to join in a walk-a-thon for books wearing Tawni's "Extreme Skinny Jeans". When a rival walk-a-thon pops up, everyone starts dropping like flies as a result of SPS (Skinny Pants Syndrome).

At 3 p.m. ET/PT Family offers a sneak peek of the new Disney Channel series Good Luck Charlie. The comedy revolves around what happens when a new baby joins the Duncan household and roles shift for everyone in the family, including teen siblings PJ (Jason Dolley, Cory in the House) and Teddy (Bridgit Mendler, Wizards of Waverly Place) and tween brother Gabe (Bradley Steven Perry) who must adjust to the many changes baby Charlie brings.
