MONTRÉAL, May 10, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Mme Martine Carré, Chair of the Board of Directors of Héma-Québec, is pleased to announce the appointment of Benoit Morin as President and Chief Executive Officer of Héma-Québec. Mr. Morin will officially assume his duties on June 4.

Benoit Morin has extensive management training and holds an executive MBA from Queen's University. He also has a Ph. D. in health ethics and law from the University of Toronto and has worked in senior positions in the healthcare field and academia for more than 20 years.
Before joining Héma-Québec, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Montréal West Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre.
Mr. Morin worked several years at the University of Toronto, where he helped establish the Toronto University Health Network. Following this, he was part of the founding team of the Canadian Institutes for Health Research.
His expertise and achievements cover many aspects of management, especially strategic positioning, organizational mobilization and change management.
