BEVO AGRO ANNOUNCES BOARD APPOINTMENT

LANGLEY, BC, Dec. 9 /CNW/ - Jack Benne, President of Bevo Agro Inc. (BVO: TSX-Ven.), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. David Stitt to Bevo's Board of Directors. Mr. Stitt was a Director of the Company from 2005 to 2009.  Mr. Stitt has also been appointed to the Company's Audit, Corporate Governance and Compensation committees.

Mr. Stitt was a Managing Partner of Banyan Capital Partners from 1999 until his recent retirement.  Prior to joining Banyan, he had spent 13 years at Vencap, Inc. and its predecessor, Vencap Equities Alberta Ltd. 

Bevo Agro is North America's leading supplier of propagated agricultural plants, growing and distributing vegetable, flower, berry and other plant seedlings to North America's growers.
