TORONTO, April 12, 2013 /CNW/ - Last night's second surprise double eviction shook up the Big Brother Canada houseguests and sent Vancouver's Alec Beall and Scarborough's Topaz Brady out of the Big Brother Canada house with votes of three to one and three to zero respectively.
"I'm disappointed in myself; seventh place is a disgrace. I should have played a better game," said Alec Beall. "Turning my back on my showmance was a big mistake."
"I feel sad because I still wish I was in the house," said Topaz Brady. "I wanted to win the POV. I always questioned my alliance with Peter and when he didn't use the veto on me, it confirmed my suspicions. It was hard not knowing who to believe or trust in that house."
Following a physically grueling HOH competition earlier this week that saw Jillian MacLaughlin and Topaz outlast the rest of the houseguests, the pair struck a deal. Jillian took HOH with the promise to not put up Topaz and Alec for eviction. Big Brother Canada is always unpredictable and Jillian went back on her word, nominating Alec and Peter Brown for eviction. After winning POV, Peter pulled himself off the block leaving Jillian to choose a replacement nominee - Topaz. Once Alec was evicted from the house the houseguests were thrown immediately back into another HOH competition. Emmett Blois took the win placing Topaz and Talla Rejaei on the block. After winning his second POV competition, Peter chose not to use his Power of Veto and Topaz was sent packing.
Closing out last night's episode, host Arisa Cox announced another major twist - the chance for Canadians to blow up the house. In the next Chevrolet Power Shift fans have the opportunity to vote to bring one of the current jury members back into the house. Next Thursday, April 18th either AJ Burman, Gary Levy, Alec or Topaz will reclaim their bed in the Big Brother Canada house. Visit www.bigbrothercanada.ca to vote online or use the #BBCanBringBack hashtag followed by the jury member's name to cast your vote on twitter.
Tune in Sunday night at 9 pm ET/PT to find out who will be the next HOH and which houseguests will be on the block for eviction.
