TORONTO, July 27, 2012 /CNW/ - Hot on the heels of its second season order, SAVING HOPE pulled the plug on BIG BROTHER last night with 1.7 million viewers, 10% more than the CBS/GLOBAL simulcast (1.5 million total viewers). In fact, SAVING HOPE is surging, growing 39% in the key A18-49 demo alone. The series remains Canada's #1 summer drama/new series.
Following The London 2012 Games, SAVING HOPE returns on Thursday, Aug. 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV as Charlie's fate is revealed in the most emotional episode yet.
Starring Erica Durance (SMALLVILLE), Michael Shanks (STARGATE ATLANTIS), Daniel Gillies (THE VAMPIRE DIARIES), Wendy Crewson (Away From Her), Huse Madhavji (CALL ME FITZ), Julia Taylor-Ross (ROOKIE BLUE), and Kristopher Turner (THE LISTENER), SAVING HOPE is from acclaimed Gemini award-winning producers Ilana Frank and David Wellington (THE ELEVENTH HOUR, WOULD BE KINGS, ROOKIE BLUE).
