GATINEAU, QC, March 20, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - This morning, as part of its shopping offering upgrade, Les Promenades Gatineau officially opened a brand new HomeSense and Marshalls store occupying a surface area of 36,000 square feet off Chemin de la Savane.
Marshalls offers a large selection of designer clothing, footwear and well-known brands for men, women and children at below market prices. It is this chain's first banner in West Quebec.
HomeSense offers a wide array of home decor products at exceptional prices. Together, the two stores will make for an attractive addition to the shopping options already available at Les Promenades Gatineau.
New, well-known players will also be coming soon to the shopping centre, including footwear retailers Rieker* and SoftMoc (end of March), along with Pandora and RW&CO. (August 2018), and MAC Cosmetics (September 2018).
As well, men's clothing specialist Ernest is currently undergoing a major revitalization and is expected to reopen in early May. Local footwear retailers Le Pacha and Piedestal will now share one location, to better serve their clientele. This new concept store is expected to open at the end of March.
To date, 48 new stores have been added and nearly 40 others have been relocated and renovated.
"We're happy that people in Gatineau support buying local and that the community has really rediscovered its shopping mall. We're sure that these new players will be enthusiastically welcomed by West Quebec fashion lovers," says Francis Vermette, Les Promenades Gatineau general manager.
* Opened on March 15th
