TORONTO, Aug. 24, 2012 /CNW/ - Big Brother did it again last night, dominating primetime with its exciting double eviction episode. Global's hit reality series won the night with 1.8 million viewers nationally (2+), seeing an increase of 13% week over week. Big Brother also won its timeslot in the key Adult 18-49 demographic nationally and in all four meter markets.
Following the reality drama was a special Gregory Smith ("Dov") directed episode of Rookie Blue which had a great night as well, winning its timeslot for 2+ and A18-49 nationally as well as in the four meter markets.
Viewers who missed last night's episode of Big Brother and Rookie Blue can catch up on GlobalTV.com or on their Global Video App, available from the App Store on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, or on demand through cable and satellite providers across the country.
Big Brother returns to Global this Sunday, August 26 - 8pm ET/PT for the eviction nominations reveal. Rookie Blue is back with another all-new episode next Thursday, August 30 - 10pm ET/PT.
