MONTREAL, April 5, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Bikini Village is proud to present its new visual signature including an updated logo and a new store design. With this new visual identity, the Canadian retailer with nearly forty years of history, who carries branded swimwear and beachwear for men and women, is now making a shift towards modernity. The integration of the new logo will take place gradually through the opening of new stores and the renovation of existing spaces, beginning with the reopening of its Galeries d'Anjou boutique in Montreal at the end of May 2016.
"After 12 months of hard work and investment to realign the buying, strategic direction and positioning, and launching an online store, it was time to highlight a new era with a revamped logo and a new store design," explains François Roberge, President and CEO of Boutique La Vie en Rose Inc., which owns Bikini Village. "Looking in to the future, we have chosen a branding with a modern profile and a sumptuous metallic colour reminiscent of the sun, warm sand, and golden tans. The breath of fresh air that we are bringing to Bikini Village with a product offer featuring coveted brands and combined with an updated visual identity will increase the retail chain's notoriety and allow us to expand."
The new generation of Bikini Village stores will feature a sleek design inspired by cabanas, where brand name swimwear, their colours, and prints will be showcased in a setting that is calm, refined and simple to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. The new Bikini Village concept will first be revealed with the opening of the Galeries d'Anjou store (Montreal) at the end of May 2016, followed by the opening of the West Edmonton Mall boutique in June, a brand new location for the banner. This wave of openings will continue with the reopening of the Carrefour Angrignon store (Montreal) in July and then of the Bayshore Shopping Centre location (Ottawa) in August following major renovations.
In order to rapidly meet the needs of Canadian customers from coast to coast and to offer a complete shopping experience, Bikini Village launched its online store last November; however, the objective is to eventually open stores in key markets in Western Canada to establish a physical presence and accelerate the expansion of Bikini Village outside of Quebec and Ontario.
