Canada's Leading Condo Developer Claims Six Awards, including Home Builder of the Year, Green Builder of the Year and Stephen Dupuis CSR Award
TORONTO, May 10, 2019 /CNW/ - At the 39th annual BILD Awards Gala, the Building Industry and Land Development (BILD) Association honoured Tridel with its most prestigious Pinnacle distinctions including Home Builder of the Year (Mid/High-Rise), Green Builder of the Year, the Stephen Dupuis Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award and award for Best Customer Care.
Considered the most prestigious honour presented to a developer, the Pinnacle Award for Home Builder of the Year recognizes leadership in the industry and a dedication to innovation, quality and customer care, as determined by industry peers and direct customer feedback. As Canada's leading condominium developer, Tridel takes this role and responsibility seriously, and is committed to building quality homes and resilient communities for today, and tomorrow.
"Our team continues to work for the good of our homeowners, their families and the communities we share. This award is recognition of our collective efforts and accomplishments, as well as the contributions we make to the industry, being a Best Place to Work for our employees, and exercising our influence to have a strong community impact," says Jim Ritchie, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Tridel. "We're honoured to be recognized within the industry and by the homeowners we work so hard for, what a proud and exciting evening for our team!"
The Stephen Dupuis Award is one of BILD's highest distinctions and is presented to an organization or individual that is committed to CSR, conscious of their social impact, and recognized for their efforts to enhance the industry's reputation.
"We are deeply humbled to receive this once-in-a-lifetime award for our longstanding commitment to corporate social responsibility," says Danielle Feidler, Senior Vice President, Brand Experience at Tridel. "This is a testament to the work with and in the communities we're helping create, our dedication to raising awareness of opportunities for youth in construction, and our continued efforts to remain good corporate citizens."
As the industry leader in sustainable development, Tridel's reputation for environmentally-responsible building is unsurpassed. This is the tenth time the home builder has been awarded Green Builder of the Year. A pioneer to green building in Toronto, Tridel won the inaugural BILD Green Builder of the Year award in 2007 and has earned the distinction 10 times in the last 13 years – more than any other builder in the GTA - for its dedication to sustainability, high-performance building, using eco-conscious materials, and utilizing innovative green construction practices.
"We're committed to always considering our environmental impact and strive to implement innovative building practices so that we can successfully meet the needs of today's communities, while safe-guarding the well-being of future generations," says Bruno Giancola, Senior Vice President, Project Management/Innovation and Sustainability at Tridel.
Tridel also won Best Customer Care, for the third time in four years, for its Inspired Committed and Extraordinary Service promise and dedication to provide the best homeowner experience.
Over 1,200 people gathered at the 39th Annual BILD Awards Gala on Friday, May 3rd to celebrate the very best in real estate, construction, design, marketing and sales as BILD recognized the most innovative work in the GTA building industry today.
