BILD launches new RenoMark™ website
TORONTO, Oct. 25, 2012 /CNW/ - Today the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) revealed a redesigned renomark.ca - the increasingly popular website that identifies professional renovators across Canada.
The website is home to the national RenoMark™ program, which was launched by BILD in 2001 in the GTA to help homeowners find reliable and reputable professional renovators. Today, the program is administered across eight provinces in more than 38 regional areas, each with its own searchable database.
"The success of the RenoMark™ program is evident by its rapid growth over the past 11 years," said BILD President and CEO Bryan Tuckey. "This program has improved consumer confidence in the renovation sector because every RenoMark™ renovator agrees to abide by a Code of Ethics and renovation-specific Code of Conduct."
The Code of Conduct includes offering a minimum two-year warranty on all work, carrying a minimum of $2 million liability insurance, providing a detailed, written contract for all jobs and returning all phone calls within two business days.
"The RenoMark™ brand is a recognizable and respected symbol of professionalism in the renovation industry," added BILD Vice-President of Membership and RenoMark™ Program Manager Helen Batista. "It means you are putting your home into the hands of a professional and can renovate with confidence, whether you're in the GTA, Greater Vancouver or the maritimes."
The new website will feature a modern design and simplified interface, allowing visitors to find contact information for professional renovators, read tips on the renovation process and download the RenoGuide - the complete guide to a successful renovation.
Residents of the GTA will also have the option of customizing their search by a specific trade, such as flooring, roofing or custom home building.

With more than 1,375 members, BILD, formed through the merger of the Greater Toronto Home Builders' Association and Urban Development Institute/Ontario, is the voice of the land development, home building and professional renovation industry in the Greater Toronto Area. BILD is proudly affiliated with the Ontario and Canadian Home Builders' Associations.
