Bill 201, Election Finances Statute Law Amendment Act, 2016

TORONTO, May 31, 2016 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on General Government will meet to consider Bill 201, An Act to amend the Election Finances Act and the Taxation Act, 2007.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Tuesday, June 7 and Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 201 should provide their contact name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to the Clerk of the Committee by 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 2, 2016. Witnesses will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send a written submission to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2016.
