TORONTO, March 10 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on General Government will meet to consider Bill 235, An Act to enact the Energy Consumer Protection Act, 2010 and to amend other Acts.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Monday, March 22, and Wednesday, March 24, 2010.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 235 should contact the Committee Clerk by 12:00 noon on Wednesday, March 17, 2010.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Committee Clerk at the address below by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2010.
