Bill 34, An Act to repeal the Public Works Protection Act, amend the Police Services Act with respect to court security and enact the Security for Electricity Generating Facilities and Nuclear Facilities Act, 2012

TORONTO, March 27, 2012 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on Justice Policy will meet to consider Bill 34, An Act to repeal the Public Works Protection Act, amend the Police Services Act with respect to court security and enact the Security for Electricity Generating Facilities and Nuclear Facilities Act, 2012.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Thursday, April 5 and Thursday, April 19, 2012.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 34 should contact the Committee Clerk by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 10, 2012.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send a written submission to the Committee Clerk at the address below by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2012.
