TORONTO, May 1, 2017 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on Social Policy will meet to consider Bill 96, An Act to enact the Human Trafficking Awareness Day Act, 2017 and the Prevention of and Remedies for Human Trafficking Act, 2017.
The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Monday, May 8 and Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 96 should provide their contact name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to the Clerk of the Committee by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017.
Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
