Bird Construction Income Fund Announces award of construction contract with
UBC Properties Trust

TORONTO, Nov. 17 /CNW/ - Bird Construction Income Fund announced that a subsidiary of the Fund has been awarded a construction management services contract with UBC Properties Trust for the construction of the new Student Union Building at UBC. The new Student Union Building is an integrated part of the University Boulevard Program. The new facility will be designed to include meeting and social club rooms, offices, retail food services and assembly areas. The construction budget for the facility is approximately $74 million. Pre-construction services have commenced and construction completion is expected in the summer of 2014.
