BIRD CONSTRUCTION INCOME FUND ANNOUNCES EXECUTION OF A DESIGN AND
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH PLENARY JUSTICE THUNDER BAY LP FOR THE THUNDER BAY
CONSOLIDATED COURTHOUSE PROJECT
TORONTO, Nov. 22 /CNW/ - Bird Construction Income Fund announced today that an operating subsidiary of the Fund has executed a design and construction contract with Plenary Justice Thunder Bay LP to design and build the Thunder Bay Consolidated Courthouse project. On September 20, 2010, the Fund announced Bird's participation as a member of the Plenary Justice consortium that was selected as the preferred proponent responsible for the design, build, finance and maintenance of the courthouse located in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Since that time, the consortium has reached financial close.
Bird's role relates to the design and construction of the courthouse. Construction is expected to commence in early 2011 with a completion date scheduled for the summer of 2013.
