Bird Construction Income Fund announces financial close on Moncton schools
project

TORONTO , Sept. 14 /CNW/ - Bird Construction Income Fund ("Fund") announces that it has executed a design-build construction contract with Scotia Learning Centres Inc. to construct two schools located in Rexton and Moncton, New Brunswick . On August 19, 2009 , the Fund announced that Bird Construction Company was a member of the Scotia Learning Centres Inc. consortium that was selected as the preferred proponent to construct two schools totaling 170,000 square feet. Work on the projects will begin immediately and is expected to be completed by the end of 2010.
