Bird Construction Income Fund announces Paul Raboud stepping down and the
appointment of Tim Talbott as CEO

TORONTO, April 7 /CNW/ Bird Construction Income Fund announced today that effective June 30, 2010, Paul Raboud, P.Eng. will step down as the CEO and will take up the position of Vice Chair of Bird Construction. In his new role, Mr. Raboud will focus on expanding the Company's business in the PPP sector as well as on general business development.

The Fund is pleased to announce that Mr. Tim Talbott, P.Eng. will be appointed to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective June 30, 2010. Mr. Talbott currently serves as the President and COO. Mr. Talbott has been a member of the Bird organization for over 28 years. He began his career in Bird's Edmonton office and has progressed through a wide variety of positions including project manager, production manager, branch manager, vice president, executive vice president and president.
