BIXI ON TOUR IN THE UNITED STATES!

MONTREAL, Aug. 2 /CNW Telbec/ - The Public Bike System Company is pleased to announce the launch of BIXI Tour 2010, which will take place from Tuesday, August 3 to Sunday, August 22, 2010 (inclusive). The tour will bring the BIXI team to various US cities to demonstrate the popular public bike system, with the aim of enabling potential new markets to discover or find out more about the BIXI system.

The following cities will be visited:

• Long Beach, California (August 3)
• San Diego, California (August 4)
• Salt Lake City, Utah (August 8, 9 and 10)
• Aspen, Colorado (August 12)
• Portland, Oregon (August 15)
• Redwood City, California (August 20)
• San Francisco, California (August 22)

"The tour is an excellent way of demonstrating the BIXI system's technology, how it operates and the advantages is can bring to cities or regions that are looking to establish a public bike system on their territory. BIXI, North America's first large-scale public bike system, has been a great international success, having been introduced on three continents. Recently launched in Minneapolis, BIXI will soon take to the streets of Washington, D.C., where it has impressed with both its technology and bike design.
