Black Friday activities and promotions at Ivanhoé Cambridge shopping centres in Quebec

To mark National Diabetes Awareness Month, Ivanhoé Cambridge partners with Entraide diabétique du Québec for a responsible shopping campaign

MONTREAL, Nov. 21, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Ivanhoé Cambridge announced today its plans and activities for the "Black Friday" shopping celebration at 14 of its shopping centres in Quebec and 18 other centres across Canada.

Responsible shopping and contests
To mark this unique shopping occasion, Ivanhoé Cambridge and Entraide diabétique du Québec are inviting consumers in Quebec to shop responsibly.

For the campaign, participating centres invite shoppers to make room for Black Friday purchases by making a donation of used clothing to Entraide diabétique du Québec on Black Friday, November 29, until December 5. All proceeds from donations will support the activities of Entraide diabétique du Québec.

Gift cards for the first 100 shoppers who make a donation*
The first 100 shoppers who make a clothing donation in participating shopping centres will automatically receive a $10 gift card redeemable at that centre and will be able to enter to win a $500* gift card redeemable at that shopping centre. This initiative will be valid from Friday, November 29th to December 5 2013.

The celebration of Black Friday, a very busy shopping day in the United States, is playing an increasingly large part in Canadian retailers' marketing campaigns and is growing in popularity among consumers in search of discounts. Many retailers at participating shopping centres will also be offering their own Black Friday promotions and discounts. Shoppers are encouraged to visit each of the centres' websites and social media pages for more information.
