VANCOUVER, April 12, 2018 /CNW/ - BlissCo Cannabis Corp. (CSE: BLIS) ("Company") is pleased to announce that the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Bliss Co Holdings Ltd. ("BlissCo") earned its Occupancy Permit from the Township of Langley on April 6, 2018.
"Earning our Occupancy Permit from the Township of Langley is a significant municipal milestone following up on BlissCo's ACMPR License to Cultivate that Health Canada granted us on March 29, 2018.
Since earning our Building Permit from the Township of Langley in September 2017 we have been working diligently to execute our ACMPR construction project with our construction partner NRG Consulting Ltd.," said the Company's Chief Executive Officer and Chair, Damian Kettlewell.
"It was a pleasure to work with BlissCo management, the Township of Langley and our sub-trade partners to complete our construction project two weeks ahead of schedule and be granted our Occupancy Permit shortly afterwards. It's great to see BlissCo earn its federal license and municipal permit ahead of schedule so they can start growing in an expedient manner and begin to use their uniquely branded distribution, sales and operations office to drive revenue growth," said NRG Consulting Ltd.'s project manager and CEO Craig Garden.
"BlissCo's office concept was inspired by nature, designed to convey a brand suited for the progressive cannabis consumer; an open, light-filled and welcoming space whose millwork and wall features would be carefully chosen to incorporate natural materials throughout," said Interior Designer, Toula Theodosakis who designed BlissCo's branded sales office. "One of the highlights of the offices is the custom preserved plant wall installation created by Vancouver's ByNature to bring BlissCo's brand to life in the space."
"As our offices and facility are now complete, we are very optimistic that BlissCo's team can work within this inspired space to execute on its business plan to earn additional ACMPR cannabis oil and cannabis sales licenses, generate revenue expediently and build an iconic Canadian cannabis brand," said CEO, Damian Kettlewell.
