Purchase Includes Consumer Publications Cottage Life, Cottage, Outdoor Canada and Canadian Home Workshop.
TORONTO, Dec. 5, 2012 /CNW/ - Blue Ant Media (the "Company") announced today it has purchased Canadian lifestyle company Cottage Life Media Inc. and its four consumer publications - Cottage Life, Cottage, Outdoor Canada, Canadian Home Workshop and their associated websites. The purchase also includes Cottage Life Media custom magazines, books, social-media apps, and the bi-annual Cottage Life consumer shows. Cottage Life Media is a thriving, multi-platform business that will continue to be led by Founder, President, and CEO, Al Zikovitz.
Cottage Life is a well-loved, successful and iconic brand that has earned the trust of Canadians for over 25 years. This award-winning company has effectively built a strong business with a loyal community around its flagship Cottage Life brand by being an expert in all things cottage and by making its content available through print, digital and consumer show touch points. Earlier this year the company acquired Cottage, a magazine that focuses on the unique British Columbia and Alberta market, giving the publisher a greater presence across Canada.
