Blue Cross® Launches 'iWish' Contest Giving Away a Dream Trip to Support Children's Wish Month
TORONTO, March 5, 2019 /CNW/ - Once again, Blue Cross is encouraging all Canadians to enter their iWish contest in support of Children's Wish Month. The Canadian Blue Cross Plans have come together to raise more funds, so Children's Wish can grant even more wishes to children across the country.
Celebrating 30 years of partnership
For 30 years, Blue Cross has provided free travel insurance to wish children and their families. The child's illness is covered during the trip to let the families enjoy this very special moment together without worrying about costly medical care. Thanks to Children's Wish and Blue Cross, over 12,000 dream trips came true to date.
70% of the wishes are travel wishes
Having a heartfelt wish to look forward to gives sick children with life-threatening illnesses the strength to endure their treatments. Dream travels are the most requested by children, reaching 70% of all the wishes. They have a huge impact on the child's condition and on the whole family spirit. The more we can raise, the more Children's Wish will be able to grant dream trips.
Enter the iWish contest to win your $5,000 dream trip!
From March 1st to March 31st, people can enter to win a $5,000 travel voucher toward their dream trip by sharing their dream destination and donating to Children's Wish at bluecrossiwish.ca. Blue Cross will match all donations.
The draw will take place on April 29, 2019.
