Blue Jays claim Henn from Orioles

TORONTO , Oct. 29 /CNW/ - The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have claimed LHP SEAN HENN from the Baltimore Orioles roster. To make room on the 40-man roster C MICHAEL BARRETT has been designated for assignment.

HENN, 28, spent time with Minnesota and Baltimore last season, posting a 0-3 record with a 7.53 ERA in 26 games, all in relief. The 6-4, 225 lb. left-hander was a 26th round pick in 2000 by the New York Yankees, and has pitched for four clubs; New York (2005-07), San Diego (2008), Minnesota (2009) & Baltimore (2009). In 60 career games, including five starts, he has posted a 2-9 record with a 7.56 ERA.
