CALGARY, Oct. 15, 2012 /CNW/ - Boardwalk Real Estate Investment Trust ("BEI.UN" - TSX)
Boardwalk Rental Communities ("Boardwalk") and the Kolias Family Boardwalk Charitable Foundation announce their Platinum Sponsorship of We Day Alberta, an event that is held to empower and inspire youth in Alberta, and across Canada, to be a positive change in their local and global communities.
In addition to being a Platinum Sponsor, Boardwalk is offering the children of their Customers the opportunity to attend and be a part of We Day. By completing a short entry that includes their thoughts on how they can change their local, national or global community, youth will be entered into a draw for the opportunity to attend We Day.
"Boardwalk believes that change starts with community, and what better way to inspire change than to inspire the youth in our communities?" said Sam Kolias, CEO and Chairman of Boardwalk Rental Communities. "It is a true honour to partner with Free The Children and be a part of We Day Alberta. We are excited to work together to empower our youth and help build better communities."
We Day is an initiative of Free The Children. The Alberta event will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at the ScotiaBank Saddledome. For more information about Free The Children and We Day, visit www.weday.com.
