Bonaventure Expressway: Eastbound night closure September 30 (towards
Champlain Bridge) at Exit 2
LONGUEUIL, QC, Sept. 29 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to announce the complete eastbound closure of the Bonaventure Expressway at Pierre-Dupuy Avenue (Exit 2), Thursday, September 30 from 9 PM to 6 AM (scenario A).
These night closure allow for the continuation of work on the deck, beams and bridge pier, as well as the replacement of roadway expansion joints in the section, and paving in the Pierre-Dupuy Avenue sector (Exit 2 of the Bonaventure Expressway).
Detour roads have been planned for the construction area. We invite you to consult our map (http://bit.ly/bplZzT) presenting the different closure scenarios.
Details of Scenario A:
Complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway toward east (Champlain Bridge) at Exit 2 including:
- Closing of the Wellington St. on ramp
- Complete closure of Pierre-Dupuy Ave. under the Bonaventure Expressway
- Closing of one of two lanes on Pierre-Dupuy Ave. toward south and on Des Irlandais Street toward north
