Bonaventure Expressway: maintenance work - Ongoing overnight work at Exit 2
LONGUEUIL, QC,
The road work will necessitate complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway at Exit 2 (Pierre-Dupuy Avenue) on the following schedule:
- Wednesday, September 23: complete closure in the Montreal direction from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Scenario B) - Thursday, September 24: complete closure in the Champlain Bridge direction from 10 PM to 6:30 AM (Scenario A) - Friday, September 25: complete closure in both the Montreal and Champlain Bridge directions from 11:00 PM to mid-day Saturday (Scenario C)
Detour routes have been provided for traffic in the roadwork sector. Drivers are nevertheless encouraged to uses other bridges to the South Shore during the work periods as well as public transportation.
Details of the closings: Scenario A: ----------- Complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway going east (Champlain Bridge) at Exit 2 including: 1. Closing of the Wellington St. onramp 2. Complete closure of Pierre-Dupuy Ave. under the Bonaventure Expressway 3. Closing of one of two lanes on Pierre-Dupuy Ave. going south and on Des Irlandais Street going north Scenario B: ----------- Complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway going west (Downtown Montreal) at Exit 2 including: 1. Closing of the Mill St. onramp (east side) 2. Complete closure of Pierre-Dupuy Ave. under the Bonaventure Expressway 3. Closing of one of two lanes on Pierre-Dupuy Ave. going south and on Des Irlandais Street going north Scénario C : ------------ Complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway going east (Champlain Bridge) and west (Downtown Montreal) at Exit 2 including: 1. Closing of the Wellington St. onramp 2. Complete closure of Pierre-Dupuy Ave. under the Bonaventure Expressway 3. Closing of one of two lanes on Pierre-Dupuy Ave. going south and on Des Irlandais Street going north
