Bonaventure Expressway: Postponement of Work Scheduled for September 23 and
24

LONGUEUIL, QC, Sept. 23 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated wishes to inform the public of the postponement of the work that was scheduled for September 23 and 24 on the Bonaventure Expressway in the area of Pierre-Dupuy Ave. (Exit 2 on the Bonaventure Expressway). Only the September 25 closure remains in effect.

The work scheduled for Friday, September 25 will require the complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway at Exit 2 (Pierre-Dupuy Ave.) going to Montreal and to the Champlain Bridge starting at 11 p.m. until midday on Saturday, September 26 .

Detour routes have been planned in the area where the work is taking place. However, motorists are invited to use the other bridges to the South Shore during the duration of the work, as well as the public transportation system.

    
    Details of the closures:

        Complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway going east (Champlain
        Bridge) and west (Downtown Montreal) at Exit 2 including:
        1. Closure of the Wellington St. on-ramp
        2. Complete closure of Pierre-Dupuy Ave. under the Bonaventure
           Expressway
        3. Closure of one of two lanes on Pierre-Dupuy Ave. going south and
           on Des Irlandais Street going north
