Bonaventure Expressway: Schedule Change - Complete Night Closure on October 7
at Exit 2

LONGUEUIL, QC, Oct. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated wishes to inform the public of a change to the maintenance work schedule on the Bonaventure Expressway. The repair work will take place on October 7, 2009 on the Bonaventure Expressway in both directions in the area of Pierre-Dupuy Ave. (Exit 2 on the Bonaventure Expressway). No closures are expected during the night of October 6 .

The roadwork will require the complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway in both directions at Exit 2, according to the following schedule:

    
    - Wednesday, October 7 at 9 p.m. until Thursday, October 8 at 5 a.m.:
      Complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway - westbound (Downtown
      Montreal) at Exit 2 (scenario B);
    - Wednesday, October 7 at 10 p.m. until Thursday, October 8 at 6:30 a.m.:
      Complete closure of the Bonaventure Expressway - eastbound (Champlain
      Bridge) at Exit 2 (scenario A);
    

Detour routes have been planned in the area where the roadwork is taking place. However, motorists are encouraged to use the other South Shore bridges during the duration of the work, as well as take the public transportation system.
