Twenty-six Calgary Kids to Sign One-Day Contracts with the Calgary Flames

CALGARY, Feb. 24, 2019 /CNW/ - On February 24^th, twenty-six lucky youngsters will be signing one-day contracts with the Calgary Flames. Selected by Boston Pizza, the Preferred Family Restaurant of the Calgary Flames, these future NHLers will get a taste of what it's like to play in the big leagues; including a realistic signing experience, access throughout the venue and ice time with Flames Alumni, Joel Otto.

The schedule for the day is as following:

• 11:00 – 11:30      Contract signing and photo capturing with Flames Alumni Joel Otto.
• 11:30 – 12:30      Venue tour and activities.
• 1:00 – 2:00          Winners skate on the Scotiabank Saddledome ice.
• 2:00 – 2:15          Event wrap-up.

The NHLer for a Day event was also held in Vancouver with the Vancouver Canucks on Feb 10^th.  A similar event is also to be held in Edmonton with the Edmonton Oilers on February March 2^nd.
