Successful Entrepreneur and Investor to Lead Growth of Company

("Botaneco") (TSX-V:BOT), a health science company focused on natural proprietary ingredients in the cosmetic and food industries, today announces the appointment of Michelle Scarborough as Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of the Corporation effective immediately. Michelle has held a cross section of executive roles in public and private sector organizations, positioning these companies to achieve significant milestones, investment and growth. She is currently Managing Partner of SMART Ventures, LP, a fund that invests in cleantech, energy, ICT and related sectors

Mr. Georgacacos will remain on the Board of Directors and will be in an advisory capacity to assist in the implementation of the Corporations strategic plan. Aki is currently a managing partner at Avrio Capital, a lead investor in Botaneco.
