BURNABY, BC, Dec. 21, 2016 /CNW/ - This Boxing Day (December 26), Best Buy is thrilled to offer Canadian media the opportunity to easily capture the excitement of the biggest retail day of the year with its annual open media policy. For one-day only (December 26), instead of seeking advance permission to capture visuals of customers lining up and nabbing the hottest deals, media can walk into any Best Buy store and simply ask to speak with a store manager.

The majority of Best Buy stores across the country open at 6:00 a.m. on December 26, with line-ups of eager shoppers – keen to secure the in-store door-crasher deals – expected well before then.  Online, the Boxing Day deals kick off on December 24 at 7:00 p.m. EST on BestBuy.ca.
