Boxxer extends expiry date of certain outstanding warrants

CALGARY, Aug. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Boxxer Gold Corp. (TSX Venture: BXX/OTC: BXXRF) ("Boxxer" or the "Corporation") announced today that it has extended the expiry date of the 4,431,500 common share purchase warrants originally issued on August 10, 2012, subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. The Corporation has extended the expiry date of all such warrants until the earlier of: (i) August 10, 2014; and (ii) in the event that the closing price of the common shares of the Corporation on the TSX Venture Exchange has been at least $0.12 for a minimum of 15 consecutive trading days (whether or not trading occurs on such days), the Corporation may, in its sole discretion, provide written notice to the holder that the exercise period has been reduced to 15 business days following delivery by registered mail of such notice. The exercise price of $0.12 per share will remain unchanged.
