Boyd Group Income Fund Arranges New US $100 million Credit Facility

WINNIPEG, Dec. 20, 2013 /CNW/ - Boyd Group Income Fund (TSX: BYD.UN) ("the Fund", "the Boyd Group" or "Boyd") today announced that its operating company, The Boyd Group Inc., has secured a new five year US $100 million revolving credit facility, with an accordion feature which can increase the facility to a maximum of US $135 million ("the Facility").
"We are excited to announce this new credit facility that further enhances our financial flexibility," stated Brock Bulbuck, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Boyd Group. "This arrangement, combined with our strong balance sheet, positions us well to continue to execute on our growth strategy for a number of years into the future."
The lending institutions participating in the Facility include TD Bank as lead arranger, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, National Bank Financial and Scotiabank. A portion of the new facility will be used to repay US $29 million of existing U.S. senior term debt.
